Drawing no comparisons with the Sistine chapel or any other work of art, you dont have to look any further than the temple towns for the indian version of frescoes adorned ceilings!!!






































I dont exactly know when this particular ceiling was painted.. The angels in the corner look very similar to the cherubs!!

i think the chinese fresco would have been painted when Hu-Tsang came to india during King Harshavardhana's rule
